Kate Martel is from Amherst, MA and graduated from Goucher College in 2002 with a B.A. in Dance and Education. She then moved to New York and has had the good fortune to work with Nora Stephens/noranewdanceco, Becky Radway, Miguel Gutierrez and Juliette Mapp. She is currently working with Jessica Morgan and Luis Lara Malvacias. Recently, Kate, Cortney and Leah presented their first collaborative work, "Interlusion," at Triskelion Arts.

Jeff Snyder, is a composer, electronics performer and sound artist working in New York City. He has written music for a variety of ensembles and situations, frequently employing a combination of electronic and acoustic instruments. He recieved his undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he studied with Stephen Dembski and Joel Naumann. He is currently pursuing a doctorate at Columbia University under the direction of Fred Lerdahl and Joseph Dubiel. In addition to concert music and installations, Jeff creates dubbed out electronic productions under the moniker Scattershot, plays synthesizer in the video-game rock band The Power-Ups, electric bass in the experimental rock group Frances, and live electronics in the electronic duo The Creations. http://www.scattershot.org

Nora Stephens, choreographer /dancer /video artist, moved to NYC in 2001. In NYC, Stephens work has been presented at the Brooklyn Museum, the Joyce Soho as part of the Dancenow Festival, the Construction Company, the Mulberry Street Theatre as part of the Newsteps series, Dixon Place, Chashama and The Old American Can Factory among others. In Boston, her work has been produced by MOBIUS, The Dance Complex and by Arts & Society. Stephens’ video works have been screened at the American Dance Festival in Durham, NC, Le Quinto Festival Internacional Video Danza in Buenos Aires, Argentina and most recently in collaboration with choreographer Kate Corby in "While I Wait" presented at Community Space 848 in San Francisco. Stephens started the noranewdanceco. in 1999 with funding from the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she received a BS in InterArts and Technology in 2000. Nora also currently performs with Beth Soll and Company, Mandy Morrison/mandymachine and Rebecca Davis. http://www.noranewdance.com
